Glasgow is a city that is beautiful to look at. However, due to poor planning, a lot of time was spent on other things than exploring it. For the poor traveler it is however a great destination as for much of it’s prices are like the UK (reasonably expensive) it has a load of free things to do.
The riverside museum is a must especially if you like boats, old cars and trains. Gorgeous, free and full of history.
The tall ship is a nice visit of a old boat, it’s machine room etc.
And downtown is full of nice shoppes that all have that crazy-old-scot-architecture thing going on.
Of course, what visit is complete without seeing the local graveyard right ? Glasgow’s cemetery is so big it actually bears the title of,necropolis and it does really deserve it’s city of the dead title. Huge monuments.
