Glasgow is a city that is beautiful to look at. However, due to poor planning, a lot of time was spent on other things than exploring it. For the poor traveler, it is, however, a great destination as for much of its prices are like the UK (reasonably expensive) it has a load of free things to do.
The Riverside Museum is a must especially if you like boats, old cars and trains. Gorgeous, free and full of history.
The tall ship is a nice visit to an old boat, it’s machine room etc.
And downtown is full of nice shoppes that all have that crazy-old-scot-architecture thing going on.
Of course, what visit is complete without seeing the local graveyard right? Glasgow’s cemetery is so big it actually bears the title of, necropolis and it does really deserve its city of the dead title. Huge monuments.
